The metadata function offers an overview of the database. Which datasets are present and linked to which taxonomies. Who are the custodians and deputy custodians of the datasets and how many plots do datasets contain. Furthermore, how many plots are geo-referenced and how many are freely available or have a restricted or semi-restricted access.
