If species are added to the table cover values can be entered.  Each cell can be activated by pressing Enter, by double clicking with the mouse, or by simply entering the first character of the cover code.

You can quickly search a species in the table by entering the first character of the name, under the condition that the cursor is positioned on the first column.

 

Sort: sort species alphabetically.

 

Add: add species to a table.

 

Delete: delete the current species from a table.

 

Save: finish input and save the table to the database.

 

Close: finish input. You can complete the table at a later stage. You can save a table for each database.

 

Cancel: finish input and do not save the table. Your data from the table will be lost.

 

Row edit (Column edit): after editing a cover value and confirming the input with Enter the next grid cell will automatically be activated. Choosing Row edit activates the cell at the right, whereas Column edit activates the cell below.

 

 

Please note that you should not click the Save button as long as have not finished the table. Use the Close button instead
