The export to a Turboveg2 database currently does not include the dictionary and the corresponding lookup tables. Only the plot database, comprising five dBase III+ files (tvhabita.dbf, tvabund.dbf, remarks.dbf, tvadmin.dbf and tvwin.dbf) and the corresponding species list (species.dbf and species.fpt) are created.
Check the Only include standard fields option if the number of fields to be exported needs to be limited. Especially when deriving plots from different datasets this is recommended, otherwise the Turboveg2 database will end up with numerous fields with very few data.
Check the Create Turboveg2 backup file option to create a backup file of the output. The backup file can restored by Turboveg2. Also a backup file of the species list is created that can also by restored by Turboveg2. However, make sure that there is no conflict with an existing species with the same name list in Turboveg2.
