Export to a GIS file

Distribution data, including header data can be exported to a GIS file. ESRI shape file (*.shp), Google Earth Keyhole Markup Language (*.kml), Geographic Markup Language (*.gml) and GPS Exchange Format (*.gpx) are the possible export formats. In case a selection of species was included in the query the taxon names are also included in the attribute table.

The grid size allows to show the distribution in different resolutions.
