Import the TurbovegSD XML file into the dataset that was used to create the XML input file for TurbovegSD, meaning that only data from Turboveg3 processed by TurbovegSD should be considered.

The import will be aborted if fields present in the XML file are not present in the target database.

 

It is required to use the same dataset (and the same Turboveg3 database) for export to a TurbovegSD project file and for the import of the TurbovegSD export. Use a different dataset for each new TurbovegSD project and for each field worker involved.

 

If the dataset in which the XML file of an SD-project needs to be imported already contains data from an older version of the SD-project, then there is the question if existing data should be overwritten. If no is selected then only new plots will be added. If yes is selected then the existing data will be overwritten. The latter case is certainly needed if the existing data has been updated on the smart device.
