After the Excel file with corrections has been sent back by the custodian, the manager of the Dutch Vegetation Database needs to take the following steps:
•Open the Dutch Vegetation Database in Turboveg3.
•In the menu select ANALYSE, NDFF validation administration.
•Open the Excel file.
•Scrolling through the list will automatically select the plot in the database, or double click a plot observation ID in the first column.
•On the basis of comments the selected plot observations can be edited (the window with the validation results remains open).
•In case a new location has been specified (check the data in the last two columns 'Longitude' and 'Latitude') a simply click on the button Accept new location automatically updates the coordinates of the plot in the database.
