If a species list is not available as Turboveg2 species list (species.dbf) there is the possibility to import a list from an Excel file.
On the first row of the Excel sheet the following column names should be mentioned:
SPECIES_NR |
A unique numerical identifier with the table |
ABBREVIAT |
The scientific taxon name without authority |
NATIVENAME |
A vernacular name |
AUTHOR |
The authority or the scientific taxon name with authority |
SYNONYM |
Whether a taxon is accepted or a synonym. A synonym name must always have an accepted counterpart. The value should be a boolean value (TRUE of FALSE) |
VALID_NR |
In case of a synonym it is the numerical reference to the SPECIES_NR. In case SYNONYM is equal FALSE VALID_NR and SPECIES_NR are equal |
