NDFF validation (Dutch Vegetation Database only)

On the bases of a NDFF validation service the occurrence of rare species in vegetation plots can be checked. The service checks if in the NDFF database the same species exists within the kilometer grid cell of the neighbouring cells with a time frame of 10 years. If this is not the case the species is listed in the first sheet ('Voorkomen controleren'). If it is the case then the species is listed in the second sheet (Voorkomen aanneming).

The file is send to the custodian of dataset checked. At least the species listed in the first sheet need to be assessed. This can be conveniently done in a web application (https://www.synbiosys.alterra.nl/controlelvdopnamen/). Comments can be added in the last column (Opmerking). After the assessment the file can be saved and send back to the manager of the Dutch Vegetation Database who will process the comments. See next paragraph.
