All plots of a Turboveg2 database can be assigned to an access regime. The assignment is used to determine the policy for data exchange with other parties that requested plot data. The access regime is typically used when dealing with big databases, like EVA, where many different data sources (from many different custodians) have been brought together.
There are basically three different access regimes defined for the EVA database:
ofree access: data can be delivered to other parties without permission of the custodian;
osemi restricted access: custodians will be informed of a possible data exchange and can respond within three weeks. Without response the data may be delivered.
orestricted access: custodians will be informed of a possible data exchange and can respond within three weeks. Without response the data may not be delivered.
